My Final Play

I vividly remember how we met...
You and I.
Asked to do a play...I was Romeo and you were Juliet.
We were the stars, just you and I...
The play came to an end, The curtains fell... A
nd still we played the part.
To this day I still play Romeo... Hoping you will join along.
What happened?
It takes more then one.
Sometimes I look back...At the video...
Rewinding constantly only to see those beautiful days.
My last request...Is to do one more play with you.
To Regain that long lost beauty That Beautiful memory.
Though even when wishing on a shooting star... I continue to be let down...
Those days...don't you miss them?
MacBeth...Romeo & Juliet...Even Hamlet.
We were the stars...
And everytime the sky rained roses.
Time to let it go... Perhaps I'll write my own play...
and pretend we were lovers once again.
Pretend it was like it used to be...
Pretend you were on the Balcony...
as I plea to be yours.
Like it used to be...
