The Broken Chariot

Here I sit,
Against the cold pavement...
In this broken chariot.
Ever since I lost your smile,
I no longer smile, a blank face.
Ever since I lost your touch,
I no longer feel.
How can this happen to me?
Why do I continue on?
I guess it's true... A Broken heart still bleeds.
Ever since I lost your love,
I no longer love,
All I see is this picture, In this broken chariot.
Torn, but nevertheless, My last memory of you.
Ever since I lost you sweet voice,
I no longer speak...
Ever since I lost that beautiful sunset in your eyes...
I can no longer see...
The oasis so beautiful, Yet I ignore it,
For I no longer feel compassion... Without you here...
I feel like everything is just the same...
You steered this chariot,
Remember back then?
We used to ride this chariot,
watching the waves of the sea,
Watching the sun go down...
But now, it's just another chariot,
another sunset,
another wave the same...
Another broken memory, with only a portrait.
