A Forbidden Love

The clock strikes twelve,
We punished for forbidden love.
You beheaded, I starved and too weak to turn away.
Why oh why couldn't I be killed?
I get to live on, whilst you die tragically,
your soul forced to search for eternity within this tower of time...
Never able to leave the tower...A cruel fate.
I can't take this pain within my heart... The images I have seen.
I leave with dawn, myself my only army.
I shall die in battle, raiding the palace, Getting revenge.
I fight this battle to the end, though it's me against a whole army.
True love is stronger then any man.
The swords clash, the catapults fire...
A new light has shined upon me, I have become invincible with rage.
I know I'm not the only one fighting, you're right there beside me,
Giving me your remaining strength.
Vultures come to feast upon the flesh, the battle not yet over.
It's now just me and the emperor, hanging by a thread.
The final clash of swords is made, the fights outcome, I got my vengance...
Deep gashes and infected wounds, I head back to the clock tower...
Where you wander, and spend my last minutes with you.
I fall right beside your body, and pass away.
Our souls reunited, The bell of the clock tower echoes,
The last time we will hear the heavenly sound.
We rise to our own eternity,
The echoes of the bell like our wedding bells,
The wedding we never had...
